The 2014 harvest was one of the earliest harvests we’ve ever had. Typically In late October we are still picking at Monte Bello, however in this unusual year we were essentially done at all of our vineyards by late September, with just a trickling of grapes coming in during the first week of October. See this video for more detail from our winemakers on the 2014 harvest.
While the grapes may be long gone, the vineyards are alive with color. The fog has been lingering late and the dropping temperatures tell us that winter is just around the corner. This is an amazing time of year here in Northern California so we thought we’d share a few images with you. These were taken at Lytton Springs on October 24th.
