I’m really glad you brought that ’99 Lytton Syrah to show. For people to appreciate how good the Ridge Syrahs are, it’s important that they know what amazing wines they can (often) age into. That ’99 was a great example.
I think, next year, you should organize a tasting of some of the older Ridge Rhones (in that wonderful VIP room), whilst there are a lot of RhoneHeads in the Bay area for RhoneRangers, I suspect it would be an eye-opener for many of them. Think about it.
